Hood to Coast
Okay, Lance (I forget his skiing nickname) has proposed a team for Hood-to-Coast. Though I don't recommend that we shake on this in any Marine Corps Memorial Hotel bars, I think this is a fine idea.

When is it? When do we have to have our entry in? Who are we looking at as a team. Will Luke be able to run by then?

As for food on the course, we should see how many In-and-Out Burger establishments are on the route.

First, I think we could save time by not using some type of unaerodynamic vehicle such as a conversion van, rather, we should use a vintage VW Beetle (vintage b/c I'm old school, just like R. Lewis--though I do not generally get implicated in felonies). Second, I think that we should be sponsored by Gold Bond Powder, which as WLB and RS know, is my favorite long distance accessory/aid. Third, I think that we will need an extra large cooler to fit all of the requisite tall boys. In-and-Out Burger sounds good..... That is all.

I think I had enough of PH's naked application of Gold Bond in that tent at the Perimeter Challenge. I think that the rule from now is no application of Gold Bond in the van. We want to run a classy operation to attract the ladies (as Kyle would say). A VW bus would be good if we wouldn't have to stop and repair it ever 20 miles. Too bad old blue isn't around. Sniff.

Stopping for repairs every 20 miles sounds like a typical race for Rick. Any truth to the rumors that Up Your Gas is really THG in pill form?

I am in for Hood to Coast if you all will have me. Maybe I can swing some sweet foreign sponsorship deals. Will that affect our amateur status?
